About This Site
First off, should you find it difficult to read this text, click another category button and re-invoke the About selection. The only Javascript used is in some of the modal transitions. Note that the page title and icon change with the graphic selected. Look at the address bar and the page tab once in a while. The Increment button steps you through the selected category alphabetically; switching to another pops you out of this function. The Reset button takes you to the first entry in the selected category. The About button disappears when Bigger, Increment, or Reset are selected. The Time button on the modal opens this page in time-around-the-world mode. Give it a try. It may render visibly as the server must calculate many time zones. Some of this page's backgrounds are very light, but this should detract very little. BTW - the About button invokes different text for each category. This category is Nations; my list is of 195 sovereign states.

There are seven possible cases for the background. Some are random gradients; several are small image files tiling the canvas. The Nations background is a matte of tiny flags. Still to onlinee: the canvas (and its population) jerks a little to the side when some modals appear or are banished. Work is being done. Note that both modals can be called at the same time and this one always "wins."
